Does anyone work, run or own a Driving School anywhere near Grimsby?

After 7 years its time to get behind the wheel again but need to re-take my test after being a tit and losing it the first time round, at least licence will be clean now lol.

Can still drive due to private land so will only need a few lessons to eliminate bad habits.

    Before you ask:

    About 2 miles
    Over £500
    Very difficult
    Over 80mph
NO, you can't have a go

Things have changed a bit since then mate, you may find that you'll need 10-15 lessons to get up to test standard If you shop around for instructors be sure to ask the grade 4-6 or if they are qualified or trainees! Best of luck mate

Should be ok, when I did my bike test I did 1 hour of a pre booked 3 hour lesson and was sent home, I thought I had done wrong but I was actually put in for my test and given the 2 remaining hours money off my test, which I passed first time with 1 minor.

With any luck car should be just as easy lol, although now I have said that I bet I fail lol.

Oh you'll be fine one lesson is all you'll need, give the instructor a £5 to show him how it should be done after all what would a trained professional instructor know eh?

Oh and you realise you have bad habits but the attitude that comes across is their ok lol You'll be fine its easy to fix them

Sounds like theres a reason you lost your license the first time.

When will people realise that just because driving looks easy does not make it so?

I find it easy as I can already drive and have been doing so throughout the 7 year period its just been on private land and not on the public highway but I still handled the vehicle as if I were on a road, when I say bad habits its like 'palming' or using one hand to drive instead of 2 hands on the wheel and feeding it or not wearing a seatbelt.
The reason I lost it the first time was for speeding but back then I was a reckless youth, today I have grown up and realise the error of my ways.
I said 'a few lessons' as I can already do 90% of what they expect of you whilst driving so won't need as many as other people, I won't be learning to drive or reverse parking round a corner or parallel etc as I can already do it with ease.
I didn't say anything about cars and one lesson, I merely pointed out that that is all it took when I did my bike test due to the fact I could already ride a motorcycle and obviously I could ride it well, so with me being able to drive, hopefully the car test would be as easy, not easy in itself but easy for me to grasp and conquer, although with the amount of idiots on todays roads maybe it is a little easy?!?
Please don't judge me as you don't know me, we have all made mistakes and regretted them.

I just remember something a driving teacher once said: It's possible that the examination gets harder for people who have lost it once, because they are supposed to already have driving experience (I read something between the lines when he said this).
If it were me, I'd go there being 100.00 % prepared. I'd simply go to a driving school, explain the situation and ask for advice.
