Would someone take pity on this newbie, and explain what "cracking" is in this context, please?

Crack manouvres are when the heli is being flown and the pilot shakes the sticks frantically making the heli "judder" like mad while in flight.

In other words knackers your bearings up in very quick time.

From the pictures of the unit plugging into the Trainer port it would seem that the unit intercepts the PPM signals prior to transmission and on triggering from a spare channel toggles the configured channel (roll, pitch, etc..) rapidly up and down automatically by a pre-set amount and speed.

          Weird...

Thanks, Tim, for continuing my heli education. Don't think I'll try that one for a while, tho.

At the 2 points in the clip when he 'cracks' pitch/roll (0:10 and 2:56) I cant actually see the heli moving in relation to the input, you can hear it though... perhaps its the quiality of the clip that is the explanation but the change in pitch/roll is very very fast on the Tx...

I thought that was the point... not so much the physical movement, just the blade fart?
