I know Lee. And I really wanna go too. He's been good to me since joining and I thought it might be a laugh to go up there and get a shot or two of him checking over my build and test hovering it for me.

But the drive is a bit of a way for me. Still, be a blast tho.

If you can get up to see Tim i would highly recommend it thats for sure... wont meet a nicer bloke and probably the best host ive met in the hobby yet. You'll get well looked after. Bet you'll learn a trick or 2 also

Got it all fixed now though.

I said I'd try to get up and see Tim for engine runs and test flight. Hope to do this before too much longer, if Tim's up for it and my wife lets me come!



Failing this Russ has offered to help too, in case I can't justify the 4.5 hour drive north...Russ is only an hour south (or thereabouts)

Trust me it will be worth the 4.5 hr drive if you get chance you won't regret it. There's something about Tim's field that gets the best out of everyone at some point in the day. If we could bottle and sell Tim's enthusiasm he'd be a millionaire

Just got my copy of Rotor world. Excellent article, Martin, keep them coming.

I regard the trip to Tim's for set-up to be an essential part of the process. You couldn't find a more helpful bloke. Sadly, so far I only "know" him through here, but I intend to rectify that later this year.
