I use Ino-Lab digital servo's on my B400 and recently had to change a gear set in one of them, I have rung all over the place to find that only Blink do the gear set I need.
Now using Blink is not a problem for me as Rupert and I get on really well and have a good old laugh on the phone etc, the problem I have is the lack of shops selling the parts, I mean god forbid but what happens if Blink suddenly disappears?
So having though about it some my question to you is this:
Is it possible or do you know anyone that has transplanted a gear set?, ie have you ever fitted Hitec HS65 gears into say an Ino-Lab case etc?
In theory its possible as they are both micro servo's and have nearly identical dimensions and are almost rated at exactly the same speed, torque, power etc, I did note however that Ino-Lab use 4 gears and Hitec has 5 although if using complete sets I dont really see this as being much of an issue as 5 gears should fit in the 4 gear box and vice versa due to no restrictions or bits being in the way.
What do you guys think?
