Need a Flying site.

Hi all,

anyone know where to fly in or around Solihull, I have found the midland helicopter club but thats 30 odd miles away and wanted something a little nearer. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thx Sacko, tried the bmfa and got midland heli club as the closest but i was hoping a non affiliated club existed that was a lot more local.. but looks like midland is one of the best options so far unless I can find a local farmer who will let me use a secluded field (I have my own BMFA, so no worries there).

Thx to craig too, is that a club field or somewhere you have permission to fly mate, I fly 90 size nitro so have to consider the saftey side of things too.

There is a club close to Stonebridge Island somewhere where a friend has just joined, Ill ask him when i see him.. There are a few at Sutton Park on Sat and Sun after 2ish too

BMFAMids lists quite a few others..

Stonebridge would be perfect for me if they have some space for another heli pilot. it's only 10 minutes up the road. let me know some details as soon as you can please mike.

Probably as far away as the Midland club but you might want to consider the Himbleton club, link in my sig. We have the advantage of being heli only (unlike the Heart Of England) so there's plenty of help and assistance if needed and a 28 acre field to ourselves (it's surrounded by fields too )
