  • aagggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :/

Just went down the field to give my heli a small test hover since i have put the new rx in it BUT ALL WAS NOT GOOD...
First started it and went to hover about 1ft of the ground and the tail started to drift abit so gave it a bit of rudder to get it tail in, but then the tail jusrt started to spin (very very fast!) So i was very lucky to get it down. Went over to have a look, and the tail servo had come out!!!
Pluged that in, and made sure all the others were in ok. Started it again and the hovered 1ft of the ground again, but then i had no control again!
Did a very lucky landing again! One of the other servos had a bad connection, and servo was not working!
Both landings were very very lucky, and after that i just come home
    Not a good day

A good example why you should do some pre flight checks. You would have avoided the first incident if not the second. It's easy to forget to check your heli fully before taking off but checking your flight controls is a minimum really.

I checked all the controls on my first flight, and on my second i made sure all the servos were in the rx ok, and again checked the controls again.
Lucky i was not very high of the ground

What lesson was actually learned here? You say you checked the heli and it was okay then it failed in flight. Twice. What actually went wrong and what advice would you give to us to reduce the liklihood of this from happening again?

I think the wire for the tail servo was loose, and was unlucky, and the other one was too!
I think i took the plugs in and out the rx to much, and then he connection's for the servo's have come loose! (I now need to find a way to fix that?) So the lesson learned was...

dont take the servos in and out of your rx to much And make sure they are all in well!

Will fishing wire be ok to hold it in?

                  No mate
Don't mess about either replace the servos or the servo plugs/Leads.
You won't be so lucky next time I can guarantee it. Then You'll wish You'd never bodged it.

Or will it end in tears? lmao
