  • How many amp have you burnt today???

It seems summer is here with us at last - it must be coz low wind and no rain and I was wearing three and not five layers of clothes to keep warm.

I have used 3.5 packs of battery flying my Blade 400 ( yep feathershaft again I'm afraid hence 0.5).

    That is 3.5x1800 = 6300 mAh (or 6.3A).

    Total hovering/flying time = 18 min (approx).

Mind you that was between watching F1 and 20/20 cricket.

It will be nice to see who has logged the longest flying time or the burnt the most amp or nitro today or in this weekend.

Ive been making my new frames this weekend, so I think ive used more power than most on helis this weekend
Milling machine has been running most of the weekend

Im still not entirely happy with the results but I should be ready to testfly the MK1 Holstheli next weekend

I did start a thread and I will update it once I have something good to show

The servo fittment is VERY tight, but it should make the heli very rigid.

The main problem im having is battery mounting as the frames are very narrow.
