cheap trex 450 pro !

I was just looking on ebay to see if there was any used 450 pro's for sale and come across this

T-REX 450 Pro Super Combo kit KX015074 gyro servos TREX on eBay, also Aircraft, Radio Control Vehicles, Radio Control Control Line, Toys Hobbies (end time 30-Jun-09 16:45:36 BST)

Seems cheap? I think it comes to about £330 and its new!!!!!

Hi.It is cheap and if it makes it through customs then great but you should account for paying import duty.I i have paid up to £80 duty on a £90 fender guitar arm.On the other hand i bought a tamiya tank from china (metal tracks) £400 which was cheap a huge box and no duty asked for.So basicaly its a gamble and if you get charged its usually payable straight away and you never know how much it will be if anything.

different items can lead to different duties. then you stick VAT on everything. I remember bringing in some car parts years back from the US and customs dont necessarily pick the correct duty for the item - there are loads after all... its up to you to tell them the correct duty for the item.

of course it might well still work out more expensive than buying in the UK and you have the warranty as a backup when sourced in the EU.

That Ebay one is from Taiwan,i almost 100% guarantee you will get taxed on it,China and Hong Kong MUCH less likely

ok... i wont be bidding on one of them I dont have the money yet just having a look I did want a 450 b4 the end of july to fly in the time i have of school
I think to save £400 is a bit ambitious. But i will try. Also do they come with a lipo?

I wouldn't worry about ordering from Taiwan. I've had around 20 orders in the last year and never had to pay import tax.
