  • Are you getting lots of Stick time ?

I have been lucky enough to have been down our patch for the last 7 days in a row! Great thing about it, it has given me a lot of confidence flying different types of models, and getting used to the ones I was unsure about!

Raptor 50 Titan, now up to my 82nd flight, and what a difference it makes flying day after day, rather than being all nervous again every week!

Acro Wott - Old great hack plane recently brought off of another club member, has a 53 2 stroke engine, and boy does it move! Started half circuits inverted, lots of stall turns, loops & rolls - great until I stupidly left the pipe cap off the filler tube, took off, engine stall, ripped undercarriage off, repairs started!

Extra 300 - got really used to this little plane, joy to fly!

Easy Star - nice & relaxing after the above, even laid down resting my head on my tool box, for a 25 min flight in the thermals yesterday! Must have got it at least 400 ft up!

Nice tan coming on too ! Have you lot manage to get a lot of stick time in with the recent fairly good weather? (until the last couple that is!)

Not yet.... mainly because getting parts for my old Robbe Millennium II is starting to get a little difficult. Wasnt a big smash, just stripped a couple of gears, tail blades, skids.

Yes & my flying is improving MASSIVLY. I'm a delivery driver (fill coca cola machines hence my diet coke man occupation in my profile) & so mon-wed i fly straight after work. Thu-Fri i can fly at 5-6am before i do my 1st call then charge a couple of packs later & fly again after. Recently i've been squeezing both my Trex 450 & my Logo 500 in the foot well of my transit so i can fly both. My jobs not skilled or well paid but it fits in with my hobby
Yes the big sigpic is coming back
