Chuffed to bits with myself!
Took my raptor down the park in the strongish winds to practice autos quite high up!
So i did a couple of mid height ones, no problem, Then went for the big one
Took it up really high and hit hold., was comming down with a good rate of speed, got to mid height and could hear the blades flapping (awesome sound) flared, leveled out to a nice soft landing,
I knew i could do it, but was chuffed with myself!
Did a few more, each at diffrent speeds and decent rates, and a couple i aborted as hit cross wind,
So yeah, had 3/4 of tank full, what more could i do?
So i thaught what the hell im focused, so lets do some flips ect, did a couple of nice flips, and then my first mini loop, then i started to combine and looked really good
Then i rememberd, why the hell didnt i keep that inverted hover in the video where i crashed,
So I went for it, Flipped upside now and bring it down a bit and its there! HOVERING INVERTED! but not just inverted i was hovering NOSE IN INVERTED!!! Really Well!!, but cos the wind i got a bit of turbulance but nothing you can do if its bobbing about, so after 30 seconds of hovering inverted, i flip out, do an auto and land!,
And im shaking really bad, and on a buzz!! i had just hoverted inverted for the first time without difficulty, so i land and reset my main needle carb (it moves in flight -_-) start the engine...
Up again, inverted nose in , this time it was lower (half of rugy poles) i held it for 2:46mins according to my friend whose stopwatching on his phone, did an inverted climbout flipped out of it did some flips came back round and autoed and landed
You Should have seen the biggest smile ive ever had on my face, and i was shaking too! lmao,.
