Hi all got a second hand raptor 50se, flew it sunday have been looking through the old threads to see if there is anything i should watch out for,The main thing seems to be the grub screw in the tail which i have checked all good.Is there anything else i should watch out for.

Looks good! (mind you, next time you take a pic of it, try focussing on the heli rather than the plants behind)

Can't help you with the "watch outs" but I'm sure someone will...

At high head speeds, Raptor tail hubs apparently like to let go.

I fitted the Align Thrust raced tail hub and blade grips.

It's a direct replacement and mine has worked very well.

        Fast Lad Performance

Tough Heli's Raptors. You'll love it!! Crashed mine twice and excluding blades the worst bill was £61

Also suits my slow style of flying

Well you already have the OS Hyper so you havent got to worry about the engine, the stock TT50 was my biggest problem. Always keep an eye on the tail belt tension my boom slid inwards a couple of times which was no fun, I ended up machining down a tail servo mount and fixed it just behind the frame for added peace of mind.
Also I was away working through October/November and my Rappy was parked up in the garage, now my garage is part of the house, it's dry & reasonably warm but when I got it out again the fly bar & all of the original TT hex bolts had rusted. It's not a major problem, but it looks ugly and makes them hard to undo without rounding them off. So be carefull where you store it, mine now lives in the bedroom much to the delight of my wife!
Other than that I think they're pretty much bullet proof!

Make sure you have the steel tail hub (PV0499), and if you don't GET ONE, they only cost about £6 and could save you an expensive crash when the aluminium original units lets go. (how sad am I, it's over 12 months since I stopped flying Raptors, and that part number is indelibly tattooed on my brain. . . . the lack of that little part almost caused me to quit this hobby)

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?
