  • My Heli: Whats it worth?

This is not for sale as yet, but due to redundancy being at my door I am considering all options and am curious as to how much my heli may be worth.

It has been involved in 5 crashes total, first 2 were just bumps, number 3 and 4 were auto's after losing orientation and I broke the landing strut and a boom, number 5 was me being clever well at least trying.
All damaged/suspect parts have been replaced apart from the main frame in which the two mounts that hold the front landing strut were broken but having glued them on they are ok and solid.

    List is as follows:

    Blade 400
    Trex 450 Union Jack Canopy
    Mini Titan Canopy Mounts
    3 x Ino-Lab Digital Servo's (HGD202HB)
    S9257 Digital Tail Servo
    GY401 Gyro
    AR 6100e Rx
    Stock ESC
    Carbon Paddles
    Carbon Tail Blades
    Carbon Vert Fin
Brand New Unused Wooden Blades (Fitted)
Align 450 Helicopter Case (One lock is slightly damaged although it does work, other than that it has Heli/Plane related stickers and is in good condition)

Comes with various spares like Tail Belt, Blade Grips, Carbon and plastic spare fins, screws etc but mainly compromises Main Shafts, Feathering Shafts, Booms and Flybars.

There is also my flight box that has various spares in it that you would need like velcro, screwdriver sets etc.
As stated this is not for sale yet but is looking as though it may head that way, this is a learner/intermediate heli and has general wear and tear from use, maybe even a little grass staining but is overall good working condition.
Swash has been set up but blades need balancing then tracked.
If I have missed anything out please ask about it or if I find anything else you will be notified asap.

Based on this info what do you think is a suitable asking price?

EDIT: Should point out that the DX6i is NOT included as I need this to fly my FunJet which I will be keeping due to repair costs being almost nil should I crash it.

In all honesty, its prob worth more to you, than what it would sell for (if that makes any sense), like my blade was, wish I didnt sell it now after all the agro.

..but around £250-£275 I would have thought. Maybe worth returning it to stock, and sell the upgrades seperately? Especially the 401 + 9257, around £100 alone.

It is worth loads to me in sentiment as I love it and really don't want to sell it but if circumstances must then so be it.
I have the stock gyro, servos and tail blades/fins etc even some other spare servos although these others need gears, only thing I dont have stock is the canopy.

Well stock Blade 400s seem to go for £200-£220 RTF...

Then £100 for tail servo and gyro.

Then say £10 for each upgrade part (average)

        Unsure on servos tbh.

        Keep it!

tuck it away out of sight for a few months - bring it back out again when things are better and you have big craving to fly it again.
