Micron Radio Control : Scorpion Motor Spares

Theres a link for all scorpion spares... shaft will be there for your model somewhere. If you cant find it give them a ring they should defo have it and they are fantastic to deal with. Cant give you any info on them shearing as ive never come across it.

Wouldnt expect the shaft to shear unless you applied quite a side load to it. You can get the shaft and bearings from fastlads, only 3 or four quid mate. Did it fail in flight?

A fellow club flyer had a shaft snap on his Scorpion motor fitted to his Trex 700E the first time he spun it up. It looked like maybe the shaft had been hardened but not tempered and was too brittle.
