redline rl53 parts

Hi my redline engine has got a nice score on the piston, thought it sounded rattly.
does anyone know who stocks all the parts for the redlines

i need a piston/ring/liner/conrod

i have been waiting 2 months for piston for my 53 no shop in uk has got one tried some in states but sold out ,

fastlad have the ring and the liner in stock. no need to change the piston unless its damaged

it might be worth contacting amerang the importers of the redline engines see if they know when the pistons are likely to be in stock

i've had the same probs with locating bits, it's the conrod that seems to be the hardest thing to get. i think what happened is that the big end got worn and the conrod started rubbing on the side of the crankcase and wore some of the ally off, and that has gone into the combustion chamber and scored the piston, a bit of a chain reaction. to be honest i've never been completely happy with it. it was secondhand when i got it although it didn't seem to have been used that much, and i have always had a lot of vibe from my 600 when the engine got to an optimum rpm of around 17000rpm.
so i've got hold of a novarossi 57 with the novarossi pipe lets see how that performs.

i have been using the nova rosi engine in my trex its a very strong engine i,, mean strong,you must have patience in seting up it is not like os plug an play

thanks for that i always remember the old novarossi's as being top of the class when i used to race cars, and patience is my middle name
if you can give me any hidden tips micky that would be brill, i'm going to start with coolpower 30 what do you think, only cause i've got a gallon.

i'll let you know adrian how i get on, i'm going to try it out tonight, well i need to run it in first.
