I don't understand all of the animosity regarding the issue to be honest. The rule change was well documented and agreed on in the open forum and was retrospectively applied to all members without exception. The fact that there are two active threads on the matter show that it's obviously a 'sore' subject for some but I can't think of any forum that hasn't of late applied a similar ruleset, so it should come as no surprise here either. It's as much as the site admin are able to do in attempting to protect the best interests of ALL members. In reality the expectation of a month, 50 posts and an acknowledgement of a useful post is hardly astronomical and probably serves only to weed out the chancers. There is no steadfast way of avoiding scams in any type of trade, least of all private sales of secondhand model helicopters on an Internet forum.
