after a long week working in wales im finally back to annoy everyone!!!!

work was shit, boring and didnt take long, got loads of flying in tho!!!!
flying on the beach at high tide, was awesome, just me and a huge bay to fly around in, even had people asking what time im flying the next day so they cld come watch!!! lol!!!

managed to kill a bottle and half of fuel and the heli came home in one piece, nightmare cleaning it every day but was sooooo worth it, was flyng big circuits, getting lower by the day, was doing figure 8s bout 6ft off the deck, my 3d is getting better, some low inverted flight, really low flips and rolls, and was doing afew tic tocs, its a different kettle of fish with a nitro!!!! lol!!!

plus i think i figured out the waggle tails thing, even with the spartan!!!!!

right, remeber i said i got a shite thottle servo, its a futaba s3010 with the g600 govenor, well, i got it to do the voilent waggle thing on the stops fom fast figure 8s, got it to happen twice, so refueled, went up and done some testing to see what happens just before it does it, and from what i can figure out, as my heli levels out it overspeeds because the thottle servo doesnt kept up, so for a mini mo the tail has alot more power, then half way thru the stop the thottle catches up and the powers goes..............

so im thinking its the tail having loads of power then a big drop off as the gyro is doing its thing and it trys to over compensate and gets confused, so am thinking tomora im gonna get a new higher speed thottle servo to try to keep up

or am i way off here????

Im assuming you tried it with the governor off also then yeh? Normally a Spartan 760 wouldnt have any hassles with stuff like that (too my knowledge anyways).

you know what, i didnt try it without, am going flying tomoz and will try it again, theres a model shop up the road from where im flying so can try it and if it happens will change the servo on the field! lol!!

but its the only thing a can think of, will try a vid it for ya so you can see what i mean, coz when it overspeeds its quite a drop in power, i got bout 100 either way on the limit bit on the usb, every thing is silky smooth and am running 37% atv on a dx7, am getting a slight drift tho but only since i changed the mixtue setting and its abit rich lol

well you shouldnt really be getting overspeeding with a governor TBH... i know the Align ones do it very slightly but ive never had major problems with mine doing anything like that. Try it without the governor and post us a video if you can. Glad to see its not spoiling your fun though Pete

i run 3152s on my throttles, dont need anything more @ 6v (well not for what im doing anyways). Would love to put 9254s on them and may well do in the future. Theres plenty of other things id rather upgrade/spend the dosh on many of my helis before i do that though.

its bout the same spec, but mite be more accurate than a s3010, and at 29quid i cant go to far wrong!!! lol!!! wanted to put a ds610 on it, so it matched my cyclics!!! lol

and just read that a s3010 is a anolgue servo, so maybe the centreing and overall positioning mite be off?? who knows!!

well i change the servo on the feild, was a bitch but got it done, still had the overspeed with the govenor on, but wasnt as bad as b4, didnt get the waggy bit, but didnt push that hard today, no hard stops, did notice that i dont get the overspeed in my idle 1, just my idle 2 tho, dropped the mid value down so got 100 -53 - 100 in idle2, but didnt make a difference, but doesnt rev up in idle 1 which is 85 - 50- 85am clueless now
