    I've bought a lot of stuff from World-of-heli. So far they have been 100 % reliable.
    It's a bit uncommon that a shop ships without having received the money. I appreciate it, because international bank transfer would delay the order for a couple of days.
    In Germany it used to be rather common that a shop would ship first and send an invoice with the shipment. You pay when you receive the goods, or get a visit from the "Gerichtsvollzieher"

      Trillian,

      Yes the postage is expensive which is why I've never used them for small items as it didn't make it viable.

      Either way I'm sure they'll sort it.

      Cheers

        Update

        'Just thought, for no particular good reason, that I would update this thread.

        So far I have heard nothing from World of Heli. I still have the package from them, unopened, and since then I received the one I ordered from the USA.

        So it would appear my choices are;
        1. Pay for it and have two, albeit both at pretty high cost ('got pinged with £8.00 Royal Mail service charge on the one from the US)

        2. Send it back to them at my expense.

        3. Keep it and not pay.

        Now, option 3 is really not on my list because even though they shipped it without telling me I wouldn't take advantage of them that way. If I take option two it means, in essence, that I spent even more just to have one and it was already too expensive IMHO.

        Soooo, does anyone want one of these? If so I'll sell one of them and try to recover close to what I paid. Basically the deal is that it is a bit expensive to begin with but I ended up paying a premium on postage by not being able to find one in the UK.

          We sell on the web at work. Had a new bloke who was shown the ropes then he walked out after 9 days. Checked his desk and found he hadn't got payment from anyone - just shipped the goods - £1000s. Fortunately one of the very soothing office girls contacted all the customers and got the money for everything we'd shipped over the next couple of weeks. Perhaps he's now working for World of Heli

            Trillian - how long was the postage for your part?
