Really looking forward to this hot sunny weekend although I know I will end up burnt and knackered by Sunday night.

Anyone else burn and go beetroot red with too much sun.

Some folks are lucky and go golden brown. I go bright red and glow.


Oh and by the way. I will be flying too..

I do exactly that - go lobster pink and then back to white again.

I worked in the Middle East for 7 years or so and my folks could never understand why, on coming home on hols, I was as white as the day I went out there!

I too hope to fly. Had yesterday off to so two long weekends on the trot for me!

im at work at the mo, but im all but done, so in about an hour ill head to the field for the day, looking forward to some nice weather.
Ive got the sun block in the van if I dont cover myself in it I burn fairly well. and then it all falls off and I end up white again

last sunday when we had a hot day and bi did my arms know it
i did not put sun cream on for a hour and half and by the time i realised i should have some on i was already burnt
arms where red as lobsters and now for some strange reason they itch as well

I'm with you there, Tim. Never had a tan in my life. we're a bit quieter this weekend, so I might manage to get out for 1/2 an hour after dinner tonight

I'll put the throttle up to 100%, and see how it goes.

After the last few bank holiday weekends I have decided that ALL weekends should be at least 3 days.

I got a lot more sun than I realised last weekend but I used to tan very well in the past so I should be able to again, just need consistent sun, not too much all at once though.
