thort id go flying after work with the 600nitro, thort i had my 401 probs solved, my god i was wrong!!!! lol!!! was flying around, fine, circuits, stall turns with a xtra few piros, fine, inverted bkwards flight, abit of shacky tail (1st scary moment) then was giving it a full thottle punt across the feild in to a big banked turn, like i was horizontal bank, ive never had a tail shake so bad!!! it scared the crap out of me, it lasted bout 2second (felt like ages) i backed off the thottle, ( still wagging like a happy dog ) levelled her out and just glided forwards till it stopped, by far the scariest moment ever, didnt fly her again after that, coz my creamy new spartan ds760 is at home (many thanks rob) so the 401 is going in a box to be used on a smaller model!!! lesson learnt today, 401, 600nitro, nah, not happening for me!!!! lol

easy .. turn the gain down a little ... 401's is fine even upto mild 3d ... I know ...I seen someone doing 3d with one of my knights with a 401 on it

lol! if i knock the gain down anymore it wont hold and drifts, think im down to bout 55% on my atv on a dx7, any higher than that and i can get some voilent shaking during some manouvers, especially on big backflips and front flips, and FFF to a hard stop, she wags like a dog the just ******* nexts doors teddybear!!!!

hi, how far out is the ball on the servo arm? try moving it in a hole and putting the gain back up a little.

whats your limit set to on the 401 ? sounds like you need to add some expo to the rudder channel and add some delay

lol! the limit is just past 100 and i got just under 50 on the delay, haven got any expo on the rudder tho

the bounce on hard stops I used to get with my 401 tail servo combo ... took some tweaking but it flies fine now and no unexpected crap in fast forward ....added some delay and I use 15% expo on the rudder , seems to work .. try it and see .. it cant hurt

yeah, the bounce drop me made, got rid of that, but its even got rid of the FFF wag, it just when the blades load up abit i.e. on big banked corner, it just goes made, doesnt matter anyway coz i got the spartan next to me, just need to set up and install, wanted to kno if any one else was having issues with this

you running a Gov ??? or tried putting 2 pads on it instead of one ... From what I know unless ya a 3d maniac then the 401 is good gyro like ya say ya got a spartan there .. good gyros ...

yup, got a g600, and wldnt say im a manic 3d'er, just trying abit and pushing abit harder, its so much easyer one a bigger heli!!! lol



and i killed the dampers already!!! lol
