    personally I wouldn't but I'm sure it can't be that hard to waterproof your electrics.

      I have been caught mid flight when the rain starterd pouring down.

      I certainly finished my flight before surrendering.

      As a rule do I wouldnt walk out to the flightline in the rain no.

          I dont think its the heli thats the problem. I doubt it would be anymore covered in water than it is covered in oil at the end of flight. Its the Tx thats is more likely to be affected as water runs down through the gaps in the gimbles and then you've got problems.

            i did once and ended up with sticky sticks on my dx7, i had to take it apart and lube all the levers,,,,

              Nightmare. I have pushed my luck a few times just when it starts raining but never stayed out long enough for more than a few drops on the case.

                don't try it with a JR 10X tx, anymore than a couple of drops of rain on that touch screen and its going back to MacGregors for a new one at 50 quid

                won't be doing that again

                  well to be honest i only did it once because i had not flown for a couple of weeks and set of to the feild (an hour away!!) when it was bright and sunny but by the time i got there it was ****ing down!! i thought bollox to it i am flying no matter what!!! so i did,
