Im currently running 480's on my TwinJet, I assume the 480 is the watt but not sure, question I have though is I have found 2x 600 watt brushed motors, if I was to buy these could I just do a straight swap for the 480's that are mounted using the existing wires and 40a esc?
I would still be running on a 3s lipo and I know that brushless are better but for the money the guy wants I cant really say no if they will do what I want them to do

Why 2 of everything?? Can I not use 2 motors and one esc and one lipo?

2 motors running on 1 esc and 1 3cell lipo aint gunna give that much speed and power is it.

if it was my tj id just set it up like a stryker and use 1 motor (turnigy 2700kv) and a align 35 amp esc

try an apc 6x4 or 6x5 pusher prop

you cant set a TJ up on one motor without modifying it and i dont really want to do that, thanks for your advice though, looks like I need to buy brushless

if you buy brushless motors .. you still need 2 esc's and you also need to cut one of the becs as well , but it will run offa 1 3S lipo then .... you do need something 1800mah above with a good discharge rate .. say 30c constant and 50c bursts ....

I got 1800 and 2200 lipos with 25 or 30 discharge, I dont have the money that you want for yours as I know what you paid for it or I would have it, and Matty I dunno if you have seen his TJ fly but I have and its anything but last lol as I can only compare mine to his mine seems super slow even though its quick for what it is

so you use 1 1800tornado and 2 7x5props. what motors and esc are you using and is your a brushless setup?

how many esc do you use in yours? what sort of flight times are you getting (flat out)

want my stryker to go faster and im looking at all posible power setups. i might just go with a trex 450 motor and esc, 4s lipo and a 6x5 apc pusher prop

I use 2 45 ampers in it ... flight time .. i never really took much notice to be honest lmao ... I just generally tend to fly for about 5-7 mins ... not full throttle all the time tho ...
