Help with Flightpower batteries

Brought three Fightpower 2550mah 6s for my Trex 500 about three months ago,charging them today and one exploded,who do i see about a replacment the shop were i brought them from or the manufacturer...here is a picture think i was lucky that i did'nt have a fire......

Crikey! That coulda been nasty.

Your first port of call is the shop were you bought them. Under the sale of goods act 1979, your contract is with them.

And maybe store them outside the house just in case they decide to expand any more.

Do you know why it happened? Dodgy charger? Shorted wires? etc.
It looks like all the cells have puffed which I would have thought is very unlikely unless there's far to much current going in.

No Cant tell why had the charger on 1.5amp 22.2v,it's not as thou im using a naff charger it is a BC6 and it seems to be charging the other 6c alright...

Take them back where you bought them and you should get sorted

Just take the multimeter outside.

If they have overcharged it might be a fault with the charger, you dont want to have the same problem again.

It seemed a bit odd that they have all puffed up at the same time, it makes me think they either overcharged or overdischarged (shorted)

I hope you can work out what the cause is.

Well i know it's not the charger as i have charge my other 500 and 450 batteries and hey are ok...

Where did you stored them before they puffed up??

They are stored in my Trex 500 case with my heli that is keeped in a cupboard under the stairs.
