Thumb or finger and thumb?

I've learned to fly on my sim with just thumbs - feels natural to me. I see some people though say thumb and finger gives greater control. So I've had a go and yes - maybe - (not enough skill yet to tell!)

Just wandered what you guys do or what your views are?

I voted thumbs - but its a balance at times. Depending on what I'm doing.

As a very experienced flyer on here told me - it's whatever you are comfortable with. I can't use fingers & thumbs to save my life!

I was taught to fly planks with thumb and finger. Just continued with the same method when I got into heli's.

i find thumbs better it leaves my fingers clear to wipe the tears as it meets the deck barry

Started with thumbs for a couple of weeks but now with finger and thumbs, The finger and thumbs seem more positive.Still learning though.

I use thumb on the left for collective / rudder, and pinch on the right

I use thumb & finger for heli's & thumbs for planks.Tried using thumb & finger for a plank and I nearly binned it on landing.Never again

Just Thumbs here to , i think coming from Planks i find it totally Alien to use both . Rob .
