  • Trex 700 ""finished at last""

Evening all i have now finished the build of my trex 700,
i can say i have thoroughly enjoyed every minute,
i held back on waiting for the new align metal clutch block,
i have also upgraded a few things like
    1. cnc washers,so i could use some m3x10 high tensile cap heads instead of aligns cheese screws.
    2. mod 1 cnc main gear and pinion
    3. metal clutch block
    4. quick uk canopy posts
    the rest is std
just need some decent weather now for the maiden flight ( can't wait)
    cheers

                        Looks good!

Quick tip for you (and other users?) regarding the elyQ regulator.
I found the power lead connectors were a little loose so a little drop of CA glue to hold them in place was used. Just enough to make sure they can't vibrate out in flight, but not so much that you can't cut the glue to pull the leads out if the need arises.

                        Cheers,
                        Rob

Or it could end up like this :

This time with a FlightTech reg and loose fitting connections. Hot glue has solved it now but it was a costly lesson
