Totally - used to do a lot of walking round Mam Tor & Kinderscout - brings back some great memories.Originally posted by Hangar-7 View PostStarting from Mom Tor car park (makes it more interesting) upto Kinders fall then Hayfield for a drink and back to Mom Tor via Jacob's ladder. Does this all sound familiar Brian.

Do what I do divert the phone to your mobile & off for a spot of flying works for me Im even able to take laptop with me & online via mobile so I can still email & log call-outs only pain in the bum is when your just in middle of a flight I then have to land abit quick forunately my motor is parked next to where I fly.Originally posted by carpman View PostUnfortunatley i'm tied to my phone(work) as i'm on call but even if not working/standing by the wind is really gusty and way above my experience level to try and fly in i know i would crash , i would love to have gone kiting though but cant because of work , yesterday all i did was slob and watch tommy walsh all day (no calls)while missus went out ...... wot a wasteToday's outlook is fine for flying.- Spektrum DX18 gen2, Phoenix Sims, Align MR25XP.

Was hoping to get some flying done this weekend but the order of the last couple of days has been rain and windOriginally posted by Mart61 View PostSo, what's everyone up to this weekend? Any cunning plans? Hoping to fly? Off to any shows?
Me, I'm off to see Eric Clapton later today and tomorrow I hope to make a start on the 600 build! Looking forward to both!
What about you?
Did the Manchester great run this morning and i'm soar!, was supposed to be training for it, but the training went out of the window, if the weather is nice there is really one thing to do.. And it's not running!
Glad you enjoyed Clapton.. I saw him in the Royal Albert Hall in 1996 and he was brilliant! Bet he has more up his sleeve 13 years laterOriginally posted by Mart61 View Post
And Clapton was superb last night too!
I saw that last night Eddie, you're gonna love it.. Enjoy!Originally posted by Eddie View Post
