Yes almost heli only - planks only if they crash spectacularly........ or they can fly in the first 2 mins of each hour ......

I have seen too much friction with plankers..... ( I do fly planks myself sometimes)

To start with I will be introducing a small fee.This will be to get a bank account going and there are some items that will need to be purchased at the start.This is likely to be around the £20 mark.

At first it will predominately be a weekend club as access to the site is going to be restricted to 3 key holders and as time goes on then more keys will be issued to more members.This is due to the fact that it is not a public field and access to the site is through a business.

Number of members is going to be limited to 25 for the remainder of the year and this will be reviewed at the end of the year.

The clubs membership will be run from Jan to Dec.

Heli pilots only,if they have a plank it will be permitted to fly but there will be no set rule on this.It will be arranged on the day with all members and with helis taking priority.

The general rules of the club will be no different to any other.

One thing I will say is that this club will not issue warnings for ungentlemanly behavior,bullying,abuse or whatever.If it is a case where a warning would need to be issued as decided by the key members you will be asked to leave immediately,without question and your membership will be canceled with immediate effect.

The main aim of this is to have fun while being safe.

Where in southeast london? We are based in perfleet which is around 5 mins from the m25 tolls im sure exact location will be comfirmed by Jamin_00 or myself by pm closer to the time we are setup but please post here if you are truely interested.

I'm in New Cross Gate. But I need to be able to get there by train, which is the thing that makes it difficult.

There is a train station quite close but to get from you to us you would have to travel into london to come back out to us with all your gear i think that would be impractical for you.

I'm only 7 minutes by train from London Bridge and most destinations involve going to London Bridge or Waterloo.

I can get down to the club in Leatherhead directly from here but then I have to get a taxi to the field. For that reason I am also looking into the Epsom Downs club as it is walking distance from Tatt corner station.

I have two carry bags that I put everything in. One for the heli and the other for radio etc. and sometimes I can get everything in the one bag with the heli. So it's not too bad really.

I'd get some funny looks if I tried to carry the Bell 47G around much though

Well thats not too bad i wouldn't say the train station is walking distance but you could get a taxi its not far at all but as i said you have shown you interest in the club and im sure once its started then the pm's will be sent out so hopefully we may see you down there
