  • Maiden flight!!!

    Hi
just wanted to share - had my maiden flight yesterday - it was great - I loved it!

Haven't concentrated so hard since I learned to drive mind! You know - when you have to think about every single move you make, wheel turn, gear shift, indicator and so on

Crikey - I was glad when fuel was getting low so I could have a break!!

Big thanks to all on here for helping and sharing info like you do. I may never have been in touch with you - but may well have read your posts and replies etc. Thank you.

Big thanks to Barry - (bigbas) Martin and Tony - the local guys who have taken me under wing and are showing me the ropes.

    Great fun!
Now cooking with gas!! - Spectra-G Gasser - nice....

Thanks for feedback guys - yeah it's addictive and I've only had two hovering sessions! Managed to get it off the ground and quite steady (for a newbie!)

              well chuffed......

Nicely put, Mick. Couldn't have put it better. Well done Rickster. My own maiden is recent enough that I can remember how you must be feeling.

Just remember this Rickster.. If it was easy.. everybody would do it.. Patience and practise are the key elements of flying..... it will come in time

Well done though matey on your maiden... and every landing is a good one, if the heli is'nt in a thousand pieces in a plastic carry bag
