ar7000 and 401 locking problems

Yep as said before.. when I finish flying..... battery disconnected on heli ,TX of, then tx on and flip to throttle hold and then connect the new battery to heli.. works every time now.... It took ages for me to work it out... Rebinding is a good idea too

Read somewhere about it being the different frequencies that the tx can use within it's frequency range or something like that......... it works... enough said

its just the tx takes too long to connect to the rx sometimes and the gyro boots up 1st, happens to me all the time, just switch off everything and turn on again, if you notice sometimes the rx will not light up for bout 5secs on a bad day, by then the gyro has done its bit but is too early, spartam gyros you can rebind with your rudder full left, the gyro relises that its not at centre and wont connect till it gets signa it is, doesnt work on a 401 tho, its just a case of turning off and on again, is a pain but hey, just how it is

thanks for the help and info guys.
iv tried turning the tx on leave for say 30sec then turn on the heli and seams to be working better. as said it happens to most people, iv just got to be patient and try a few times if it doesnt lock straight away.
