Align gp750 question

Hey folks quick question when you set up the gyro do you have to do it for both modes or just in one? The reason I ask is mine is set up and working fine in HH mode but on one occasion it span round on me on take off even after I flicked the switch a couple of times and Im scared to try it in rate mode now (just in case)!

No just the one mode mate, make sure it is in heading hold the light should be green, red when not, and make sure the gyro is not reversed
