  • Thankyou to 'ivor-bigen'

Many Thanks to you Chris for spending so much time setting everything up on my Raptor 50, it is very much appreciated.

Everything we spoke about is on order, but it's doubtful it will be here before Monday or Tuesday. I will make a good repair of the skid's as a temp solution....fingers crossed for Sunday's weather...

    Cheers m8

Meant to be nice round my neck of the woods on Sunday, with only 5mph winds

Well the weather held out for us.

Was invited to join Chris on his own land to finish the setup of the Handset and Heli..

In no time at all he had it hovering very nicely, and tinkered a bit to allow for me to have a 1st Lesson in flying.

I did my best, but have a lot to learn, especially with the sensitivity..

Fortunately I have the Phoenix RC Simulator, just waiting for the cable to fit the Futaba, then I will get plenty of practise...I am hoping that by next week I have learnt how to keep it in the same position and bring it back from drifting..

Thanks again to Chris for spending so much time with me today....
