  • OS 50 hyper rear bearings

I found some bearings the same spec (supposedly)as the NTN ones I have been using from the local bearing shop.
I wanted the phenolic cage as in the case of a bearing failure its the metal cage shattering that causes most of the damage (so I'm told - I have replaced mine regularly enough not to experience this yet).

The bearings have the phenolic cage, but they have one ball less than the NTN one (9 rather than 10). As the bearing gets such a hammering I'm in two minds about these. I've not paid for them yet...

I run them with the metal cage from local bearing place .. good to upto 30000rpm or 56000rpm depending on what they used in ... A few mates run the same bearings and no issues ... for £5 each they not too bad either ....
