  • Is this worth selling?

    Hi guys

You may recall that I was given a few bits of vintage RC gear. I was wondering if this is worth flogging?

It's just that I've seen a few similar sell on eBay here and here. I thought it was only fit for the skip.

    Your thoughts?

Give a little effort & get it on e-bay. £50 has got to be better than the bin????
One mans poison & all that.....

Worth a shot on ebay.. but if no sale.. Antiques Roadshow Year 2055 might be an alternative to the bin!

As I also have a set of Futaba FP-S128 servos and a Futaba FP-R107N receiver, I could always use it to fly a plank.

I put a 53 engine in a plane and it was a lot of fun. Lokk on eaby for used planes, they are so cheap!

Myself and Aidi fly at an 'old timers' club that still use Tx's older than that! Seriously, one of the guys is 91 and his Tx is 30 years old!!!! Stark contrast between our helis and a scratch built plane with dope covering!!

I had an Apex 7 back in the 80s when it was the Dogs Bollocks of radio gear could still be used today I used to fly a Hirobo 888 a 60 size machine and did the then advanced flying of loops and rolls and stuff but of course 3D had not even become the norm for the average flyer then

Well I charged the battery last night and all looks good. It's in pretty clean condition so, over the weekend, I will prep it and the receiver, servos and perhaps even the old Futaba rate gyro for sale on the old eBay.

Fingers crossed - it may finance another bit or two for the 600 build.
