        That wasn't the Question!

The synergy is alot better than the vibe 90 3D, Don't get me wrong the built quality of jr is fantastic and the only weakness i've found on the synergy is the need for a Hyperhub..

Remember the vibe is basically a tweeked vigor, how old was that design!?

Oh plus the synergy looks sexier

I had a Synergy for about 2 weeks once, didn't like it at all. Having said that I have never even seen a Vibe 90 3D let alone fly one so who knows??

            oh yea vibe 90 3D...

in the USA the price of the Vibe 90 3D has been lowered to a good price I believe.... I think they knocked 300 dollars off it.

Couldn't agree more. The N9 is the one to have.

You can pick up second hand synergys for peanuts now compared to there new price.
I know someone that has a brand new built N9 that has never been flown, he is a comp pilot and knows his stuff and is building up ready for masters and xfc this year so i expect would be keen to sell if asked, drop me a pm and i can give you the required info

the way i see it buy a heli , once you can fly it to its FULL potential and it will no longer do what you require from it, then think about getting something else.

throwing money at the hobby isn't going to make me a better pilot.

its like buying a ferrari enzo a month after passing your driving test.
sure it will look bloody great but you'll probably end up crashing it into a tree when you push it beyond your ability.

I could rush out and buy an SG or a synergy but i know i couldn't fly a (cheapo) trex or even a raptor to its full potential so whats the point.... until i outgrow my current heli i'll stick with that and spend my money on more useful things like beer.

i cant comment on the vibe, but the N9 is and awesome heli. the only mods i would say are needed is a pinch fan hub (means you dont have to dial indicate the engine assembly) and a pinch main mast collar (just to be abolutley sure that it wont slip and upset the crown gear mesh). A 4mm flybar will liven it up beyond all comprehension and is a 2 min job to convert to (using some radix blade root inserts form a set of 690/710's), but the 5mm is super smooth. depends what you want from a machine

Oh yeah, and the N9 is still the best looking heli on the market imho of course!

The Vibe 90 3D doesn't need any upgrades, and as for it's performance - go watch Curtis Youngblood fly. The Vibe 90 3D is just about the only heli that has competed and won at the very highest level in both 3D and FAI flying - it really can do anything.

When spending 7 or 8 hundred pounds on a heli kit, you really shouldn't have to buy any upgrade parts in my opinion.

However, I am a Vibe 90 owner and have never tried a N9 so maybe I'm biased, but one thing is for sure, I hardly ever fly it these days (maybe once since last October) because as chemicalbro says, my 50s far outfly my ability so the Vibe 90 is fast becoming a hanger queen. Not only that, the Vibe 50 flies as well, if not better than the Vibe 90 and that one really does put a smile on my face.

The N9 is a good looking heli for sure.
