do u not see that your actions are costing the lively hood of very helpful, honest and hard working people? how would you like it if someone came into your work and bad mouthed u because u were an apparent "tosser". It points to the case 'respect has to be earned' again and if u had read my post properly u would have seen i was commenting on the first visit your friend made "mate" not when you and your stinking attitude went in last time.

to kwickkwack, the shop owners are aware of myself posting this as i am a loyal customer and am willing to put myself through this to keep their good name. I think to be honest they get sick of people like u butting in when u do not know all the facts. I dont even know all the facts but what i do know is that they do not react without being provoked.

The pair of u discust me with your slating. Peterborough Model Centre is the last model shop in Peterborough which is a damned good achievement. That says something to me, whether or not it says nothing to u. I guess if u are willing to waste petrol and money by driving miles to another model shop then feel free, but my business stays with PMC as they give me the service i deserve, which is honest and to the point.

Well quite Matty, but respect to those who have a MP and have tamed the beast, we have some excellent members here who fly the little fella, but the grievance isn't so much with the lack of the machines ability, but with the total lack of ability Peterborough Model Shop demonstrated when trying to prove there'd fixed the above item, then failed with honors when asked to prove it.

Then used bully boy tactics, quote "I have nothing to prove to you, why am I talking to you, so bugger off out of my shop."

Wacko, why dont you tell the owner to come on himself and defend his 'honour' WHy is he letting a customer do this for him? This is an open forum and Stuart welcomes shop owners to come and defend themselves. Way I see it is you get good service cos you suck up to the owner, Cambs just went in wanting his mates heli sorted for him and got serious attitude for doing so. If there was nothing wrong with the heli then why didnt the owner hover it to prove his point that there was nothing wrong with it? Thats what I would have done!

well dez i find that u thinking i am sucking up is hilarious. i am defending them as i know how hard it is to keep a shop running in this recession, being a shop owner myself. i applaud them for defeating the competition and being the last standing in peterborough. i suspect that they do not have time to do these silly little forums as they are more concerned about their business rather than what petty people are saying

Stick to the basic facts.

Customer has unflyable heli, not even shop could hover it so why was customer sent away?

Claims and counterclaims of 'attitude' really don't make any difference to the first simple fact.

Fixing the problem whatever it is, is the shops responsibility and not the manufacturer.

Shops that make claims like that go right off my list without further consideration.

If the owner of the shop wants to get any kind of attitude shift here then answering this basic question is the way to start.

This is also the question Trading Standards and the small claims court will be asking so why not get it out of the way now

Hmm wonder if Wacko flies planes or helis ... Wacko ... you came in this forum and laid into Wayne over something that he felt he needed to post .. Now if the owner of the said shop had come on here and posted and got it sorted with the customer then this thread would have been moved or deleted as the outcome would have been to all involved sorted ...Now here you come to inflame the situation more by having a go at another member here and wirth your first post as well ... If the model shop owner knows that you are posting on his behalf then I suggest the model shop owner sorts it out .. Whether there was attitude by whatever side is no concern of mine .... Your so called owner has now lost alot of trade in this forum as well ..not just by the people that post here but by the people that either google or come here and join ... Lets hope this all ends satisfactory for all parties involved or there maybe another model shop with alot less customers at the end of the day ...

mini preds are shite

A bit harsh, mate. The Mni Pred is a classic case of you get what you pay for and at £150 all-in they're not a bad introduction to CCPM helis. I learned a lot from mine and I admit I had a lot of frustrations too, not least with very basic HH gyro, slow servos and basic radio. But I did learn to fly with it (plus Phoenix) and this made my transition to the Raptor an easy and painless one. A Blade 400 is a much better option and a TREX 450 even better still, but there's a step difference in cost too. The mechanics of a mini pred are fairly basic, but not much worse than a Blade 400 or bottom-spec TREX 450, it really is the electronics that are selected to a price and ultimately what limit it.

if u want to get technical cambs flyer if it is a manufactural problem then it is the manufacturers obligation to deal with that problem not the retailer and like u said paul told you this so stop getting your knickers in a twist and send it back to the supplier. I tell you what has happened, the shop person/owner regardless, decided to mouth off to the wrong person that morning in question, the week before he let all who was within listening distance at his premises know the failure of the mentioned Helicopter was the doing of the members of the Doddington Model Club.

I never went in there guns firing at that accusation I was willing to let sleeping dogs do just that in hope that my friend walked out with a fully RTF Pred', however this didn't happen.

Approaching two thousand people have almost read this thread, and apart from you have said there never use PMS again, so this guy has basically bitten off more then he can chew, and for publicly criticizing our flying club, then started to become aggressive toward me just because he couldn't demonstrate a machine he sold to a complete novice that if was possible of flight, has now done far more damage then he could have possibly imagined.

I haven't broken any law by viewing my discust at this situation, in fact everyone feels the same, I haven't worded anything that didn't happen just the facts, and if my friend decides to go to trading standards which I'm going to advise he does, they only have to read this thread for all the information needed.

No body speaks to me in a fashion that doesn't warrant such hostility, if I'd have been there screaming my head off back to him we wouldn't have had a leg to stand on, as it happens the only attitude that really sucked was the person in the shop when asked to perform something which clearly seemed possibly beyond he's means, again this is just a theory wording "possibly" as I'm not sure one way or another, only he failed to deliver the goods when asked, end of!

I'm more then happy to drag this along forever and a day, all your doing is bumping this thread to the top again which I thank you in advance for doing.
