So far I have amased a total of around 1 min of flying TST V Blades.

Basically the first set was flying Mattie Lodges 3D, flew for a few seconds and the battery on the TX went! Heli locked out and did a set. Then I borrowed some for my TREX 600 and lost the tail on a knifge edge - did another set! The most expensive collective minute of flying at around £300 crash costs.

I now have a set of smooth 690s on my 700 and so far OK, but now I've said that they will probably dig the dirt the next outing

Are they the black NHPs or white ones? I find black blades really hard to see/maintain orientation.

lol i've had one crash in the year i've been flying.
and yep you guessed it i had NHP razors on at the time

they can't be blades of doom tho because im still using the very same NHP tails that were also involved in the crash. and the heli came down vertical on its tail.

Apparently so...The Manager was telling me Inwoods of Huntingdon had some once. I bought some recently from Midland but they were black...and damn near invisible to my poor eyesight!

I used to do that to carbon razors on my logo's and eventually gave up and fitted woodies. I still crash as often but at least it's cheaper to repace
                        Carbons do look nice though

lol yeah i thought that when i typed it.
i've been practicing deliberately breaking the tail rotors on phoenix (eddies mishap with his 500 spurred this craziness) and I can now land it from inverted with no tail rotor about 9 times out of 10.
dunno if it will do any good but you never know
