  • rappy 50 engine

i built a rappy 50 for my mate, its finished, test flew it earlyer, flys really well, biggest ive flown, just a question on the engine really, i run a few rich tanks, now it needs a tune up, its a redline engine, cant remember which one, its only got 2 needle adjustment, low and high like a rc car, it idles well, just ticks over, climb outs are good abit pokey now, loads of smoke tho (magnum fuel) my question is, normal mode is a 0-100 thottle curve, on a decent the engine screams abit, do i lower my mid point and go 0-20-40-75 100 to even out the revs?

    any help wld be great!!

(where the fu** did that pic come from????)

do your Raptor a favour and get a Throttle Jockey RevMax limiter. It doesn't even need a channel.
When I got mine, I switched to flat 100 throttle curve, and life got oh so much easier... (reportedly not the smartest way to use it, but works for me).

No probs Pete... overspeedings normal without a governor so dont worry too much about it. Just combat it by dialing in a descent throttle curve. Post your servo tomorrow dude
