Had a go this evening. I could not work out how to make the flybar perpendicular to the mainshaft so I set it so the flybar was parallel to the tail boom (with the aid of a satsuma as a weight).
Just downloading the finless vid now as advised by Mart to see how its done with the allen key.
I don't know about your heli but for the Align range you can get blade keeps that have a paddle hole in the middle the correct distance from the flybar to the tailboom for helping you set pitch. I must admit I don't get so accurate, does it really matter. You can eyeball the flybar against the mainshaft whilst holding it and operate the pitch gauge with 1 hand to read it.

That should do it Jack. My only concern is that, in the second shot, the flybar was not parallel with the tail boom, but that may be caused by the camera angle.

Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.
Cheers, yes it does look a bit off. I have the bit from a spirit level to check and it was more or less the same. Until I get a proper way to lock the flybar to the mainshaft I think I will only be about 75% accurate which is ok for me now I think.
