Nice fuselage Gav. Dithered about going this morning, and now the winds are up again, missed out. Might plop about in the garden with my 450. BTW, am thinking of getting a UH-1 Fuselage for it:

Flying just before starting work this morning done 2 x lipo = 250se.

Here in Fleet (hants) the winds haven't been too strong, so have managed 3 batteries (4 today) everyday this week at lunchtime with the 450.

My gym work on the otherhand has taken a serious hit the last few weeks

...and just when I had gotten the 450 ready for a plop in the garden, a monsoon starts!!!!!!!!!

Few flights today, but the rain is very unexpected and comes and goes, so difficult to get uninterrupted. Add the wind, and it is not much fun flying the 450.

Experimented with strapping the N95 to my forehead, and got a video, but it has come out pretty dark...

Hope we can get a nice break in this horrible weather!

Flew with Technex today during very very brief intervals between the rain & done my very 1st blade scrape. Total accident & over very short grass & TBO i cant say for sure if the head button touched or not?? What i can say for deffinate is that i was LUCKY to have gotten away with it. He had a go with my Logo & although i was a little nervous i did enjoy watching him do some proper 3D with it. It needs fresh lipo's now to realy bring it back to life.

I could not resist the blue sky this morning on the way to work and stopped off for a flight. It was quite windy but sheltered next to a hedge so I could easily take off and land the 450. Finally managed to get a decent enjoyable flight with it, now its finally 'dialled' in etc. The wires poking out the bottom are for charging and connecting the power as it is all sealed up. Coulpe of photos after it's flight into the blue yonder:

If you you include the shelf queens, (Sabre FP & 3ch Salvation) then it's 6. The salvation does fly but i need teeny weeny 2 cell packs for it.

managed to do a 2 batteries yesterday which I really enjoyed, today on my 3rd battery it started raining and the wind picked up on the 2nd one so it wasnt as much fun. Im off work mon/tues so should get a few more flights in.

Top tip when you do auto's on a new heli make sure that you have enough pitch to stop it.
I did one yesturday and it almost didn't stop.
was coming towards me in fast foward flight and pulled back to slow gain headspeed found it coming very fast had to turn away from me and didn't have much hieght by now so lots of pitch to my skock it just arrived
Luck it didn't boomstrike or break anything.
