I stayed home Sorry to Adrian hope some others made it.
I should of be out an crashed but brought some loft insulation
Took the old stuff out and to the dump which is alot of hard work for me
tomorrow I need to fit the new which I hope is alot easier then removing old.

Hi,
Got out this afternoon and put 5 batteries through. Had my best session ever. Nothing like what some of you guys do. But my 8's are coming along nicely and am moving the heli round quicker. Also did my first couple of forward flying piro's. Bit crooked on the exit but was nice to finally do something different.
I have been grounded most of the year due to having to sell the 600 at the beginning of the year. So back to how I was a year ago now but really getting back into it. love my Rex 450 SE V2. Flies brilliantly and smooth. I am now chomping at the bit to get another 600. I am sure there will be one in the air this side of Christmas.
Only downside now is only boeing able to fly at the weekends if the weather's good. Need more stick time. Phoenix just isn't the same as the real thing.
Glad I got out today as the weather looks pants for tomorrow.

Visiting my parents this weekend who are fortunate to have 3 acres so took advantage of almost perfect flying conditions and put 6 batteries through the 450. As i was concentrating on my figure 8s i didn't bother with idle up - so was getting pretty much 10minutes per battery.

Shame tommorrow is a different story.

There has been a lot of developing going on there over the last few years and as far as i know there is no access to the site now.

Shame, as some years back there were some excellent and very large unused warehouses there and they would have made brilliant indoor venues.
sadly they've all gone now

Had a great afternoon,went to our other site as there was a shoot on at my regular site,must say a change of scenery got me in the mood,also the sun was behind me so i managed to do flights with tricks either side and not just to my right...what a buzz it was with 600esp,that farty noise from an inverted climbout,wow,me mate said i had all the plankers watching in amazement

One bloke said..."how many years has he been flying".......years lol ???

Inverted climb blade farts do sound the dogs testies for sure.

I flew twice today once at work & again after. I just wasn't feeling it today though although i was doing endless pie dishes it wasn't nice doing them amongst seagulls!!!

I took yesterdays bad weather as an opportunity to do some heli maintenace, changed a slightly bent main and feathering shaft, balanced the blades, got rid of some slop on the head and even though it was breezy today it feels a lot better in the air. Did my lowest inverted hovers today Been practicing inverted, tail first circuits on the sim too, slowly getting it.

Got out this arvo with the 500 and 600,was doing some big stalls as usual with the 600 then came down inverted about 3ft,popped out fairly low with 4 or 5 tic toc's then done some big tic tocs,is there a name for this manouvre guys,like a rainbow shaped TT with a pause either end?

Then did it with the 500,im buzzing yet again,didnt go out intending to do tic tocs or anything new,it just happens

dunno?? hesitation rainbow tic tocs?? i know what you mean & i think they look good.

Actually i think hesitation is when you hesitate mid tic toc which looks even better
