Did YOU fly today??

6 batteries through the rave today, 3 at lunch and 3 on way home from work, more of the same really, although I pulled off my best attempt at elevator tic tocks today and for the first time did a very very small tail slide coming out inverted.

Was that a tail slide ending in a foward flip to inverted?? Depending on how much "umph" your packs have got you may want to make your tic tocs slowish until you get good timing to make them faster. My tic tocs are quite slow even with a scorpion on 13T, with the Logo they are very gracefull

Managed to put 3 packs through my Innovator today and had a great time as there was no wind to speak of, so did some lovely smooth and quite relaxing circuits.
Also met a guy flying his plank on the common and had a real good chat while the sun finally went down.

yeah it was basically a backflip but when the tail was pointing towards the ground I held it there for a few seconds, it doesnt take long for the speed to build up! my packs usually end up on 3.75v per cell, putting about 1650ish back into a 2200 capacity so over 20% left, I would say mine are far from graceful Im happy for the heli to pull off the manouver without it falling to the ground, I'll work on the gracefullnes later

I flew today with Gav, had a great time flying till the light started getting low. He tested his trex clone ready for it's new fuselage but still needs some tweaking before it's fitted. He flew his other clone doing lots of inverted & inverted piro's . I offered to video his flying but he got camera shy

I flew my Logo & 450 & he got a vid of each which either him or me will post up once he uploads. There was a few pauses in the logo vid & he paused on my tidy piro circle. My pie dishes were high so i'm not sure how they'll come out. I also done my lowest inverted hover with my Logo with the flybar about 1ft or a tad less of the ground BUT when he pressed the shutter for a pic it THEN decided to focus before the shutter went & so it took the flip out instead

Ive not been flying for ages due to bad weather and crashes

I might start putting the heli in the work van and stopping when I see a suitable field for a quick flight. It will make driving around for work more fun

That's what i do, only it's always the same field. I did stop at a large park in boscome once to fly my 1st trex

Well i came back from work early and got a flight in with the slippy then 3 batts in the 500 getting my confidence back
And finished off with some slow circuits stopping for noise in !!!! with the Velocity

yup had a fun fly sesh this afternoon with P4ddy - cheers for that!. Getting more confident with inverted and getting there with holding it inverted rather than just waiting till I cannot hold it and flipping over again. Inverted piros while climbing too on the ol 3DX450 -happy with it's setup now - justs need a scorpion motor to push my flying further.

clone 450 flight was ok - need to sort the tracking and throttle n pitch curves. But it flies :-)!!!!

Nice flying p4ddy - lots of pie dish flying with both 450 and logo vids are in the pipe line but their not very good quality sorry..... give us some time to upload

No worries about the quality, i've been checking youtube & seen that you've not logged in yet LOL. Yea your inverted's getting good & i think your collective management with that motor is much better than mine was with my 430X
