I finally managed to get some stick time. 13 weeks and 1 day since I last went flying. Hurrah. I didn't even get cold hands, despite not wearing gloves. It was very pleasant, weather wise.
I only had one heli flight (Goblin), and one on each of my two fixed wing models.

I did plan to fly more, but neither standing nor sitting was helping my sciatica and I could barely stand it by the time I went home. Next time I'll take some pain meds with me, but I was fine when I set off so never thought to.

Sounds painful, i have broken ribs at the moment due to an accident, but have still been out flying, i certainly know about it when i get home, and then there's my wife saying ...."i told you it wasn't a good idea!" i hate it when she's right!

Thanks Grumpy and Dan. We were talking about it at the field, and to be honest, I seem to have gotten off lightly. One guy who had is spent 3 months in bed!

Hope your ribs heal soon Dan without too much pain.

What a day calm sunny and luring. Popped out at 15:30 for the last hour and boy did I enjoy my Synergy. Haven’t enjoyed myself this much in a long time. 6 flights big grin

I'm enjoying your synergy too, even with it's clothes off. I've always liked the look of them. Id like a leccy one....but then I still desire a T-rex 600e. To think they were flown on 6s lol.

Another great day today, although MK was, unusually, less than sunny. There was almost no wind but it was overcast and a little misty.


I had 4 flights, including 3 with my TDR with the new, mini V Bar, set up. Thanks to Anjki for the test flight and advice.


We had a good time, as usual, with 14 (if I counted correctly) members turning up. The conversation was good fun, as usual.

A grey and cold day here in Lincolnshire, only managed two flights!
The last flight ended badly, but I was really pushing myself doing piro flipping tic tocs then for
some reason with 30 seconds left of the flight I decided to do some rainbows with aileron rolls on the stops!
got too low and ran out of talent, hit rescue but must have tried to assist it resulting in ‘pilot oversteer!’ So she went in hard!
Ah well at least I was making good progress and found my limit!

That's a pity Dan. Sounds like you're making good progress though.

After recovering from the office flu for a few weeks, I was desperate to fly. Got down to the club at 7 and had to wait 30 minutes for the sun to come up. Flew the Oxy, Specter and Buddy all day long and got 47 flights in before it got dark. Total of 3:17 hours flying time and I could have kept going, lovely day.

As Mike said, 14 members and busy on the pegs. A nice start to the year.

Did you mean piro tic tocs. Never seen piro flipping ones. Would be mega impressed to see them though. Anyhow that's shyte. Reminds me of Pete's (discoferret) goblin smash.....into concrete.
