Finally a day without fog for a change. I had lots of stuff to do so no flying but got a few better pics than the last ones. The 800 'TD Rex' and TDR. Due to the compression effect of the cheap camera, it's not capturing the size difference between them. The TDR has 690 blades vs 800s on the Rex.

Thanks! Yes, I am quite fond of them. The 'TDRex' unfortunately didn't get much air time due to a TX issue that took some time to troubleshoot. The TDR I've put many hours on but only just recently changed the layout a bit to allow it to run smaller packs and I have yet to fly it with the new arrangement (the ESC has been moved under the battery tray and a carbon plate extended in front so that the packs can go one on top and one underneath). This way it can run packs as small as 2600mah and still balance.

Pandas in Pontefract race course is only £20 a year. They have heli and fixed wing flight lines too. It's bang next to the M62 at junction 32, so easy to get to.

Yes, like a cat with a hot poker up it's anoos. Gave a colleague a lift home so put my foot down a tad. He's a former MK1 and 2 GTi owner. Sorry not flown my chopper.

Guess what? It was sunny again today at MK!

It was a bit chilly but there was hardly a breath of wind. The weather doesn't often get any better than that.

Seven of us turned up. A new member hovered a few inches above the ground on training gear. Then Duncan O put on the best demo I have ever seen (and I have seen him fly dozens of times).

Just like Mike, lovely and sunny windless day up here in Lichfield, and not too cold either. Three flights on my scrap box build Mini Titan, nicknamed Bertie by the lads after the well known character from the Allsorts sweets assortment. Mini Titan main frame and tail assembly, Align swash and blades, Tarot pre-DFC FBL head, Blade 450 skids, Hobbyking (poor) fibre-glass mini titan copy canopy, and despite all this 'He' flew really well, possibly because it does have the uprated T/T motor and ESC, and Savox servo's with a mini V Bar.
