No not for a few years now BUT I'm about to take voluntary redundancy after almost 14yrs and I'm hoping to be earning a fair bit more than I have been. Sooooo it 'could maybe quite possibly' mean I start flying again in the not so distant future. However it won't be a daily thing as it was before (yea daily despite what my skill level what have you believe pmsl)

I might make a comeback flying a foamie plank?

First few flights in nearly a year! Absolutely loved it even though it was a touch cold!! I was thinking it wasn’t meant to be today though as I wanted to fly my G570 and Logo 690 but on taking the Logo out of its storage cupboard I caught the tail blade grip and snapped the ball link off! Totally gutted!

still though, the 570 flies so nicely, just a shame about the lack of talent and confidence of the idiot flying it!!!

I was going to but when I woke up this morning it was raining. Later it started to snow.

I stayed at home in the warm and discharged the batteries that I had charged yesterday.

Instead I enjoyed a nice Chilean pinot noir.

I managed to get through to one of my favorite fields, with my tiny, compact, 2WD.
I kept the radio mitten in the (warm) car between flights, so keeping hands warm was not an issue.
Now that I know that I can get there, I might return tomorrow with a larger heli. Or two...

Had a cracking day at the field yesterday! I’ve already flown more in 2018 than in all of 2017!!

hardly any wind and for January it wasn’t that cold! It wasn’t warm either mind you haha! I took my G570 and Trex 700E. Both helis absolutely faultless but most importantly I’m feeling the buzz with every flight now.

i just want to quickly say how impressed I am with the new set up and my club, Blyth Valley. There’s a great group of people flying everything, we had helis, planks, quads (or is the politically correct term drones?!) as well as FPV quads and planks. An absolutely fantastic feeling round the club with absolutely no sense of them and us. It certainly didn’t feel like the hobby is struggling yesterday for sure.

had my xk k110’s with me , I think at 550 mph that’ll be the fasted they’ll ever do lol

I flew for the first time in about 3-4 years today. It was some horrible thing with throttle on left (just throttle) and forward back left right in the right stick. No cyclic. Could I fly it? Could I heck!! Needs a proper mode 2 set up.

Yes I did.

First time in years. Just test flew my granddaughter's quad before her birthday. Just making sure it works and trim it out. Needs a click of left cyclic and it'll be spot on. Testing it in the living room and yes I crashed it too lol.

Throttle is very sensitive but using the auto take off takes it to a nice set up level which is chest height. I'm sooooo dam rusty at the controls 😱😆
