Perfect weather at MK today. Sunny, 20 degrees and almost no wind. Only half a dozen of turned out so it was easy to get a peg.
I got in 8 flights and some good chat with my pals.

All helis came home intact.

Lovely day flying a chatting at our Fradley site today but a shame for Dale who stuffed his Trex550 twice whilst trying flips and rolls for the first time then his Goblin 380 went berserk and crashed itself!!

For once all of mine came home intact - just hope we get some more weather like today's before the dark nights and cold winds re-appear.

Hmm, yes.

Did some auto practice with my E700. Had a slightly hard landing on my second auto. Broke the skids on the model, nothing else, except an Align BL815H servo decided to die when a blade tapped the ground. Obviously none of the 4 ball links between the grip and the servo were weak enough to bend or pop off the balls.

Now I can't find a new servo anywhere, so might end up buying a new set of 3 which is the most annoying part.
edit: Hmmm. The BL820 PCB looks identical to the one in my 815 (I've taken it apart). Worth a crack for £15.

It was sunny, as usual, at MK but it was jolly windy. A few intrepid club members turned up. I managed five flights. Character building.

managed 3 flipghts today on e700 2 were good and third lost tail and went in too death spin inverted luckily flipped it right way up and pushed forward to auto in luckily harvested field with no damage ,104 flights year total

Nope! Wasted trip to the field because the only others that showed up thought it was too windy (these were fixed-wing flyers, soooooo, you know how they are, a little wind and they run in terror ). I could have flown by myself but with the offer of a lift back I decided to just try another day. Still slightly annoyed, but now I know for the future if it's a SW wind anything over about 10-12mph they won't fly.

Sod that, I'd go home under my own steam with a smile than take the lift back by some squineeing pansy.

There were some cloudy intervals this afternoon at MK but it was warm and the wind was light.

I had 6 very good flights. My ability is improving (very slowly).

More auto practice with my E700 after last weeks disaster (see above).

This time equipped with cheaper DS615 servos, and a bent spindle that I noticed when putting the blades back on. Never mind, I'll get one ordered tonight.
1st pack wasn't bad. Nothing close to a hard landing. Second pack though, I landed every one and didn't bail out once. Buzzing.

@p1andy, did you get my PM about the servo? I sent it on Thursday I think, but no reply, and I noticed you posted about PMs messing up for you.
