Looks great grumpy. Glad it all went well!

Drove the 40min drive to my field yesterday, with the objective of shaking of the rust. Aimed for 5 packs on the 600 and use the only pack i have for the 570. Was excite because this is the first time i had taken the 570 to the field. So was keen to stretch its legs.

3 mins in to the first flight it started raining. Waited 45mins but it never stopped. Packed up and came home

Managed a little bimble to set up telemetry. I have been trying to get this working on and off for months. Finally the result I was after. Bimbling around on a 7s pack quite good fun really and back to where I was a few years ago with the Jeti

Woke up and the sun was shining headed out and really surprised how windy and cold it was. Managed a few on the 700 then it clouded over and started to rain! 2 is better than none though.

Well, following on from the abandoned flights on friday, i checked the weather last night and saw the wind was supposed to be getting steadily worse through out the day. So i headed down at 0830 this morning, after dropping my daughter off at school.

Sun was low, so i flew at the other side of the field with the sun behind me. this is awkward a little as you are now flying with a road just beyond the width of the runway. Wind was around 10mph, with gusts up to 15mph.

Today was my first proper flying since mid Jan, and i am def rusty. So first heli out was the faithful 600L. i spent the first 4 packs just trying to get where i had left off. It was a lttle different today as usually the wind blows along the runway, this time it was blowing towards me so i was flying in a cross wind.

5th pack tried a few stall turns, no issue.

Brought the G570 along. this is the first time it has been at the field. The only two previous 2 flights its had since build was really just hovering in a local farmers field, with not much room.

Based on the initial first few hovers, i decided to lower the agility a few points. Good flight. Did some circuits. Had a really good session. It was one of those sessions where you wish you had loads of packs!

Got a nice flight in yesterday with my e700 at the field, first time at the field in a month or so. Meant to post this yesterday but took a nice picture and wanted to post it too but forgot my SD card reader at work lol

Took the n5c to my local club again today for more setting up advice and tuning. A few flights to get the engine warmed up. My first, for real autorotation too as the engine cut out whilst tuning high needle.

Fun and games. Managed to bring her back down safe with no damage. Thank goodness I practiced engine failure on the simulator.

the N5C is a lovely heli to fly gives so much confidence, glad to hear you got her down safely!

Managed 5 glorious flights with the 700, scared myself several times practising piro flips but everything came back in the same state it left!
