Did YOU fly today??

2 flights with a piece of shit called a 7HV which on flight 2 failed to recover from a gentle dive into a 25 mph headwind and ploughed through two trees into soft mud. Looks to be mechanical as Vortex log shows no issues and radio showed no issues.

What a poor do.

Yes, very nice smooth flying. My rhythm isn't quite so good yet, I can string a few 3D moves together but not consistently throughout the whole flight like that. Well not IRL at least, I can do it on the sim. Just need more time at the field to build my confidence. The OXY 3 is certainly up for it!

Yes, stick time is very important to progress in heli flying. Lets hope we are lucky and have much free time for practising

Cheers Michalis. I managed to get just 1 test flight in with my 180 CFX this evening. Just fitted a new tail servo as the original was jittering badly around centre. Tail is working fine again now and the weather forecast looks okay for this week, so hopefully will get a good few flights on both the OXY and 180. Will also continue my G380 build so I should have 3 working helis over the summer months.

First two flights on the 6HVU, other than a little hover last night. First big heli, first heli with backup power, loads of float, and it's all going beautifully, other than a telemetry sensor.
