Well got through 2 packs on the 130x and 1 on the Nano and no crashes.
Still only hovering but confidence is building.

2 6s packs as test flight of my logo 500. Learned that using a tacho with the heli on ground is nerve racking!! Flies great even if it does need the next sized up pinion to get best of esc!

Just got back from a nice little evening fly all on my tod. 4 packs through the Logo, had the new scorpion backup guard fitted, gave it a quick test and feel a bit more relaxed now, totally in love with the Logo it gets better every time I fly it, so smooth and precise and a complete animal if you give it some stick. Put 3 packs through the 450 too hmmm not so smooth or precise, constantly correcting it as it decides to jump all over the place lo. Oh well good fun though

Managed to get down to the field and had four flights with the 550 DFC, I'm really starting to like this Heli and getting more confident with it. Finally grew a pair and did some low inverted hovering, (started off high) I was surprised how it just seemed to sit there just as stable as the right way up!

was at the field today about 7 30 ish had 3 batteries thought my heli when I noticed a jitter landed to find my elevator servo is now jittery and my canopy pin the thing that holds the canopy on is lose and very nearly out it will be fixed in about a hour but what a lovely evening shame I missed out of the rest of my flights

took my trex 450 to my secret space (the half of the local cemetery yet to be occupied) and flew a backwards circl-ish (emphasis on the ish) for the first time, and it feels pretty good

Had 2 batteries on the 600. Batts are run in now so a full 5 minutes on each next time :-)

Had a good afternoon flying with my buddy Pete
2 goes with the 550dfc all went well

5 flights on the 450dfc with an almost failure on flight 4

I was flying along merrily when the tail did a couple of uncommanded movements, as I brought it down to about 10ft the tail went altogether into a fast piro,

I thought that was the end of it but hit throttle hold and as it got 2ft from the ground stopped piroing and gently touched down

Cause:

The screw that the tail pitch lever pivots on had worked its way out and somehow stayed in the bearing so i didn't lose it

A lucky escape methinks ill go over both Heli's now before tomorrow evenings session

Don't know how i didn't crash :0

3 tanks on the 600 so far.. just popped indoors for a coffee break and heli change.. testing the fixed up throttle servo on spectra next... then got grass to cut ... well some of it has to get done every day this time of year.
Still feeling rusty and going through excecises..backwards circuts and inverted forwards and nose in both ways with stationary flips all ways...need to get over whatever is holding me back..
