Had a great day today at Phoenix. Usual suspects were all there (Graham, Ross, Mark, Nick, Justin and Rich - aka Heathy, Gashead, Stonermark, Chip, Sharpedge and "Grandad" )

Such a good day to be flying that we ended up using both patches for most of the afternoon. Except of course when Graham went out, at which point most of us retired to the safety of the club house! ... grasscutting has never made people run away so fast (isn't the heli supposed to be level when you do that Graham!?) Ross seems to be getting more and more nitro in his veins and Rich entertained us all by crashing his 450x! A great day, finished off by Nick giving us a demonstration of his plank flying. REALLY IMPRESSIVE flying wing - what really amazed me what how little damage it incurred by crashing into "Ross' tree" at full chat!

Rich then crashed his plank in sympathy! ... twice!

Personally, I had great fun with my 500EFL, 450x and 450-3GX. No crashes for me ... confidence coming back! Happy days !

Good day today for me, decided to keep my E720 for the foreseeable future.

I flew for my first time today. I managed to crash into 2 bushes, 1 tree and a house (thankfully my mates). My quadcopter survived it all. I'll practice in an even larger space next time.

Took both the nano and 130x outside today, 6 flights on the former, 5 on the latter, bit windy for them but fun trying with the nano, plenty of crashes too, they are so durable

Its been a pretty damp and miserable day today but still managed to make some good progress with the nano and 300x, I ran 12 packs through the 300x and I'm impressed with the progress being made with it, much more comfortable with it, spent a lot of time hovering nose in which is getting easier and more natural.

With the nano I must of run 20-30 packs through it and even tried inverted for the first time (boy does it get away from you fast) Just finished flying as it was getting too dark dark to see what I was doing but I'm very pleased with all the progress that I've achieved today.

Cant wait till Wednesday when I'll also have my upgraded 130x back to play with, just need a bigger garden (one without a 100ft christmas tree hogging all the space)

I had a quick fly yesterday lunch with my new trex 500 DFC was quite impressed my first fbl heli so seemed a little strange at first but all good, holding out for some good weather today

Took the trex 450 out but too windy for me, managed a few banked turns but got in a little trouble with gust's so settled for a low hover

Yes, yes I did, trying inverted autos being as I had the field to myself and no one could watch me stuff it up.

Didn't get to a low backflip one but managed a rolling auto several times then had to empty my cycle clips.

The back flip is just that bit to much but hopefully by grass roots the inverted death auto should be on the books.

Yes. A short demo flight at work with the 700 LE. It did great in the tight field and I was just happy that I didn't stick it in a fence/ tree. Great practice for honing the ninja skills though.
