Buy the Blade 400, the first time i flew mine i hovered out the pack using Boggy's set up from here.
Now i have my own set up though and i love it even more.
Have never seen the twitch you describe though, all heli's are sensitive but i don't think the b400 is twitchy.
    Nik.

    Before you ask:

    About 2 miles
    Over £500
    Very difficult
    Over 80mph
NO, you can't have a go

Don't forget the 'Search' and 'Thanks' buttons.

The blade seems to be a very capable heli. If you have loads of room to fly why not consider something a little bigger, Trex 500 or similar.
These will be easier to fly and allow you to progress further

I agree with Kwickkwack, got blades and a 500 and the 500 although more expensive is streets ahead. Flys a lot more stably and if you go on to aerobatics it's far more capable. If I was starting again I would not have bought the blade,it really needs a better gyro to start with and you will probably end up spending as much as a 500 upgrading it. If you really want something about blade size I would look at trex 450.

          Wow! What a cool wife

The Trex 500 is the dogs and the 450 is very good too.

However, if you are starting from nothing, then you can't really beat the Blade 400 as it has everything you need in just one box. They fly well for a newbie and cope quite well with being thrown about as you get better.

The lovely lady bought a Honeybee King 3 from Buzzflyer bless her, at the moment it seems ok for me to start progressing a little further, she hovers pretty stable and after two batteries I went back to my Buzzfly and took what I'd learned with the King and I'm doing a lot better with it too so I feel like I've accomplished something already, I'm thinking along the lines of learn on something that isn't too expensive and if it turns out that I have any talent for it I'll get myself something bigger again. I had my first crash on my fourth battery, nothing major, tweaked feathering shaft to about 70%, lost a fin, chipped blades and broke centre hub of trainer, no big deal, fixed today so had my first repair lesson on it which is good in itself.
The crew that work at the venue are all getting the bug too and are getting themselves co-axials so I have a small posse of flyers now, it's all good, we do a get in, sort out the stage then get paid to fly helicopters for a few hours before we have to do the show.
