New Heli for fathers day

Hey guys, my lovely wife has offered to buy me a new heli for Fathers day, I've been looking at the Honeybee King 3 and the Blade 400 rtf, clearly there's a price difference, has anyone had any experience of the HBK3?, the heli would be my first large heli and the more stable out of the two would be good for me, I've heard the Blade is stable but quite twitchy and that the stock tail and gyro aren't too hot but would I notice that being a beginner?(obviously I'd notice the twitch but is the gyro poor for 3d flying and ok for learning?)

Hope you all have a great Easter break and that the weather holds up, as I still can't get my buzzfly off the deck I'll be running round my back garden making helicopter noises, the neighbours might think I'm nuts but it's the closest I'll get to getting airborn, maybe if I stick the heli in a cave it'll pop out and resurrect itself, it is the time for miracles after all, or is that Christmas?

lmao, my wife is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and I've promised to buy my son a new buggy when he arrives as she doesn't like the one she has at the mo, she usually buys me a guitar for fathers day but I now have 15 guitars and two basses with a new custom built Cloud guitar arriving in a few months so this year the lovely lady is getting me a whirlybird. Maybe the pregnancy is dulling her usually admirable senses.

yeah 15, built up my collection over a good few years, I have a Parker Fly, PRS Santana, Gibson Les Paul Custom, 4 Fender Strats, 4 Squier strats, a Vintage vrs100 with emg pups, a Gibson Les Paul junior and a Fender Showmaster, I'm also having Martin Sims build me a Cloud guitar which has set me back £1525, I'm a lefty so it will be the only one in the world as far as I'm aware. I love my guitars.

From personal experience, I would recommend the E-Sky Belt CP over the King 2 or even King 3, due to design quality. The most CNC upgrades are interchangeable.

However, the Blade 400 3D and most certainly the T-Rex 450 are worth the additional expense. The Blade 400 kits includes the Spektrum DX6i transmitter and second kits of either can be found in the for sale forum.

You say you love your guitars (famous last words!) i do love mine as well, but i have not touched either of mine since i got into helis.. Spare time now is, Fly (if possible), fix (if broken), fly indoors (if not on the forum).. Completely taken over my life.. And i just can't have enough of it!

nah, there's no danger of that, my heli's are starting to take up my time but I tend to do most of my flying at work cos there's loads of space, I'm a bit limited at home which to a certain degree is good, I have a home studio in my attic and write my own music, have a look at www.myspace.com/solofly, all the music on there was written and performed by me, getting a band together this year so gigging will be munching up some more time too, need to keep the balance.

I do have a rather awesome wife, she keeps me working hard tho so I'm sure that I'll unwrap the heli, charge it, get the words "I'm off for a....." and before I finish she'll smile sweetly at me and ask me to unblock a drain, fix something electrical, replaster the bathroom.......

I'm still laughing bud.
